EVRYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW:

 Below is the order and conditions of the custom design process. As well as the custom design Terms & Policy ((please read carefully))

​

 

1. Consultation

​

One-on-one session to discuss your vision, inspiration, and design needs. This includes style direction, occasion details, and creative guidance. A $5 Non-refundable fee is required for initial consultation that goes towards your total. When inquiring, you are also booking a time and date to chat about your inquired design. Missing video conference, will result in a canceled inquiry and you must inquire again. Reschedules are allowed up 24 hours before initial chat.

- All inquiries must be made at least 5 weeks in advance.

- Large design inquiries must be made at least 5 months in advance.​ (i.e prom, weddings)

- Rushed or last minute inquiries (4weeks or less) will result in a rush fee of $150.

​- Same day custom designs have a rush fee of $300

*additional fees may apply.

2. Sketch & Design Development  

 

Hand-drawn or digital sketches created exclusively for you, with revisions, including mood board and final approved design.  Sketches and/or Pictures of inquired custom are HIGHLY recommended. Please submit after inquiry via email to info@kaieteurhouse.com This is also the fabric and materials selection process. Any specifications wanted please discuss at this time. once the construction process begins, it will take more time to go backwards, delaying the turnover time.

3. Beginning Garment Construction 

 

The beginning construction of design including pattern drafting, cutting, and sewing to bring your custom design to life.  Pictures and videos are sent throughout process of design. Additional fees apply during construction process due to labor rate, and shipping calculation.

4. Fittings  

 

Scheduled fitting sessions to perfect the fit and style of your garment, with adjustments made as needed. All custom designs require fittings. Unless authorized it is not needed. Fitting times and dates scheduled on quote are FINAL, unless authorized by me.

​Missed fittings and unauthorized reschedules will result in a fee.

​

​If client is out of state (Georgia), you may select in person or video chat fittings. 

In-person fittings are available with Travel and/or shipping fees options applied. (additional documents are required per request)

5. Final Garment Completion  Finishing touches including hand-sewn details, closures, pressing, and final pictures and videos are sent of your completed design. Additional labor fees and shipping calculation fees are added to total invoice at this time. Final invoice is sent. Once approved by client (you). The client must sign, date, pay deposit and return invoice to info@kaieteurhouse.com within listed due date. Shipping confirmation and tracking information is sent after return of final invoice by client.

​ADDITIONAL INFO

​

 

Deposit: A 50% Non-refundable deposit is required, no action is taken until deposit is in "paid" status. Deposit goes towards the costs of custom design completion. 

 

Labor rate: $55/hr Rate is estimated by the amount of hours it takes to bring your creation to life. The base rate is estimated at the beginning cost of labor if labor time runs over estimate, additional fees may apply, if labor time is less than estimate, corrected amount reflects on the final invoice.

 

Shipping: Shipping rate is calculated and added to the final invoice and are not included in the deposit invoice due to needing the weight of completed custom design.

 

Turnaround time: T.A time depends on intricacy of design. Which are discussed with every custom order. T. A times will reflect on the invoice.

If Inquiry is accepted, you will be sent an invoice with all information related to custom design and any addition info on your order. You will have 24 hours after receiving invoice to make any adjustments. A updated invoice will be sent. Once approved by client (you). The client must sign, date, pay deposit and return invoice to info@kaieteurhouse.com within listed due date.
